2017 PSSA National Congress

The Streets of Jozi – 2017 PSSA National Congress 

Join us from 24 September to 29 September to experience Johannesburg and its hidden treasures that you did not know exists!  

This congress is all about street and urban photo opportunities in places you would normally not have access to. 

Photograph from the rooftops of the city, “hang-out” with fellow photographers at all the rejuvenated spots in the city, whizz through the city on the Big Red Hop-on-Hop-off bus, learn all about street, urban and travel photography from international host of “The Candit Frame” – Ibarionex Parrelo as well as local award winning photographers.  Join us at PhotoZA gallery in Rosebank to celebrate Street and Urban photography with an exhibition of your won photographs. 

The venue for the congress is the conference facilities at Emirates Airways Park (formally known as Ellis Park). 

Delegates will be limited to 250 to ensure a very exclusive experience.

Uitstappie Februarie 17

U word vroegoggend op Saterdag 2016-02-18 om 06h00 uitgenooi na 'n foto uitstappie te Pioniershuis museum te Silverton.

Bring gerus u gunsteling kamera, lense, driepoot, reflectors, kamera-flits,ens saam. Die beplanning is om die aktiwiteite by die Boermark te fotografeer vir u portefulje: "Joernalistiek/ Straat-en-kos fotografie". Die aktiwiteite by die boeremarks begin reeds tussen 05h00 - 05h30. Al die aktiwiteite behoort so teen 10h00 ten einde te loop.

Dit is 'n veilige omgewing met parkering.

CCC January Outing

For our January outing, Centurion Camera Club is getting together for a photography morning at the Johannesburg Zoo.

We meet as the Western Gate - that is where Lower Park drive joins into Jan Smuts ave at 08:00 for 08:30 as the gates open at 08:30.  Member will be given a list of prescribed images to take for a small internal competition.  We will meet at 11:00 at the cafeteria.

·       Jou eie stoel (daar is sitplek, maar dalk nie genoeg nie J)

Ons gaan ook op die dag die klub se jaarlikse prysuitdeling doen.  So kom en “celebrate” saam met jou mede fotograwe die suksesse van die jaar.

Net om te bevestig, Die ingang na die perseel is omtrent so 60m vanaf die hoek as jy vanuit die R114 in Lochnerstraat indraai. By die ingang is daar is ‘n oranje staalhek.

Anual Print event

On behalf of the Centurion Camera Club we would like to remind everybody about our premier annual photo prints exhibition evening to be held at the Centurion Art Gallery.  The exhibition is a joint event with Midrand and Impala Platinum clubs and showcases around 100 prints. The exhibit runs from October 3rd till October 14th and is open to the public. 
Our gala opening event takes place on October 3rd at 7 p.m.

Centurion kameraklub bied aan in samewerking met Midrand en Impala klub ons jaarlikse publieke  fotouitstalling vanaf  3-14 Oktober by die Centurion Kunsgallery. Die gala openingsaand is Maandagaand 3 Oktober. Lede word uitgenooi om ‘n maksimum van 4 foto’s  in te dien wat die afgelope 12 maande geneem is ( enige onderwerp ). Die uitstalling bied fotograwe ‘n spoggeleentheid om hul vernuf in die openbaar te vertoon.  Inskrywings is aanlyn en sal namens lede gedruk en uitgestal word op topgehalte fynkunsmedia. Medaljes en pryse sal toegeken word aan die top foto's soos beoordeel tydens die openingsaand.  Koste is R140 per foto en bly die eiendom van die fotograaf.  Onthou inskrywings sluit 11 September.

Entries are to be submitted on line and will be printed and exhibited on behalf of members using top quality fine art media. The exhibition affords photographers a rare opportunity to showcase their work in a public space. Entries are R140 per print and will remain the property of the photographer. Please remember the closing date is September 11^th.
